How to find a cheap family holiday in the UK 

Taking kids on holiday can be expensive so it is worth being aware of the best options. Here's just a few ideas for cheap holidays with kids. 


##1.Take your family on a camping holiday##

 Take a tent and you can hire a pitch for a few pounds a night. Most campsites have lots of fun activities onsite and you can explore the countryside. Take a couple of nets and some buckets and you can look for wild fish too. 

2. Drive or catch the train/coach to a local seaside town and stay in a B&B for a few nights. You can often get a family room for about £50 a night. It might not be hot but it will be fun. 

3. Take them to a holiday resort like Butlins. These complexes have a choice of caravans and chalets and entertainment is included. Keep you eye out for special offers. 

4.Rent a chalet, cottage or apartment

There are many places you can hire a  chalet, cottage or apartment. Seaside towns and tourist hotspots tend to have the most choice. The Lake District, Wales, Cornwall and Scotland are all very popular and have a choice of activities nearby to suit all ages. There are  number of great deals on UK breaks here and you won't need your passport.
